Kidnap Kid closed last year with the accolade iTunes US ‘Best Electronic Song of 2012‘ for his debut release ‘Vehl‘ on cutting-edge indie, Black Butter Records. Now Kidnap Kid returns with ‘So Close’ as his second release, which is out now.

Whilst creating his own award winning releases, Kidnap Kid aka Matt Relton extends his talents to remix and production duties, smashing official remixes for Emeli Sande and Disclosure, and recently co-producing tracks for Lulu James. Out of the studio, Kidnap Kid has just returned from a 16 date US Tour, supporting Rudimental, TEED, & Disclosure. This summer, he’ll be adding many a notch to his proverbial festival bedpost, gracing the likes of Creamfields, Relentless NASS, Osheaga (USA), Wakarusa (USA) and more TBA.

With support also coming from both radio and club tastemakers plus a loyal and supportive fan base, who’s interaction with his recent SoundCloud upload can testify, 2013 looks to be a big year for Kidnap Kid.
