Matt & Kye have capitalized on their successes of 2013 with their smash new single ‘Ready For You Love. Featuring the vocal talents of rising star MNEK, RFYL has been played practically non-stop since its announcement; Supported by Radio 1, I Xtra and added to the Kiss FM playlist 8 weeks upfront of release, the single is set to help stamp Gorgon City’s mark well and truly all over 2014.
Now on the A list at Radio 1 and 1Xtra of last week, the dance-soul duo recently performed the new single in the live lounge for the BBC 1Xtra Hot 10 for 2014 series. They were also been included in Channel 4’s ‘Launched at Red Bull’s Studios’ which sees them tipped by Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac as future stars for the coming year.
Looking into this year, Gorgon City’s debut album is well underway for a summer release. Collaborations for the record include Kiesza, Bipolar Sunshine, Jess Glynne, Josh Record, George Maple, Vicktor Taiwo and Jacob Banks among notable others.
After their recent success with ‘Ready For Your Love’ – a track that has now hit 4.5 million video views, the London duo are excited to unveil their new release ‘Here For You’ featuring the bold vocal talents of Laura Welsh. Once again, Matt & Kye use their distinctive production skills to perfectly encapsulate everything that is exciting and vital about British dance music in 2014.
The last few months have seen Gorgon City much in demand in both the studio and on the road however, their focus now turns to Welcome To Gorgon City Tour which sees them head up five shows across the country playing with mix of well known, established house acts and new blood from the forefront of the electronic music scene.
